Playa Vera Just a short walk from Vera town the beach runs for 8km with golden sand from the area of Puerto Rey to Villaricos.  It has been awarded the blue flag for cleanliness.  There is also many restaurant, bars, and shops. The main difference between the beach in Vera and others within the Costa Almeria, is Vera beach has a whole area for naturists/nudists to bathe. There are also a selection of hotels that cater for naturists.  The Vera Playa Club was the first naturist hotel to open in the whole of Spain it opened in the 1980's, and many more have followed suit since.
