Turre is a small village surrounded by mountains in the Costa Almeria near Mojacar (5km away).  There is a weekly market from 9-2pm on a Friday selling high quality local produce.  There are many shops restaurants, and bars.  The local activities are rock climbing, walking, and horse riding.  The Sierra Cabrera golf course isn't far either.  There are many historical building within the center of Turre that are well worth a visit; in particular the 16th century Hermitage of San Francisco, and the 18th century Parish Church.
