Property in Tenerife is a great investment opportunity! If you like the laid back relaxing lifestyle with an excellent all year round wonderful warm climate! Although very popular there are many properties available at good prices, either brand new property developments or old style properties, whatever your preference. It is not impossible to get your new home or maybe your holiday property getaway second property, whichever your dream at an unreasonable price.
There are many new property developments where they are building blocks at a time of Villas and Apartment complex's, They are normally built in the centres and on the outskirts of main Tenerife holiday resorts. There is also a lot of re-sale property available, but again as properties are in popular resorts are in demand and can get whipped pretty quickly!!
Apartments in Tenerife, In and around the resorts come in many different shapes and sizes. 2 bedroom properties are the most common as they are suitable for families and couples. If you are an investor looking to buy property to rent out, then these seem to be the more popular with the holiday makers due to the properties versatility!
Apartments in Tenerife can start from as little as £35,000 in the centre of some resorts but in the popular areas such as Playa de las Americas start at; 1 bedroom €100,000 and 2 bedroom €170,000, Obviously property prices will vary on how many bedrooms it has, whether or not you have a communal pool, fitness centre and what other facilities are on the grounds, and how far it is walking distance to the centre of the resort and the Beach. Mostly they come part or fully furnished and it doesn't normally add a great deal on the price. Remember to ask when buying what the property maintenance cost annually are as these can go up to €5000 again depending whether there are communal gardens and pool, which in the climates on the island can be a lot of work! But at the same time this is one of the great bonuses of having these facilities - less hard work for you! The swimming pools on the complex's that are privately owned are generally very quiet due to people not being in the country or if they are they are working - they normally get busier in the night times!
Villas in Tenerife, vary completely in size and shape, starting at two bedrooms generally ranging up to 6 bedrooms sometimes more!! Many would like to own their own holiday property as their second home or maybe a more permanent new home, or you could be buying for investment purposes to rent out as accommodation for tourists! Whichever is your reason since the roman times it has been a definition of your success owning our villa!!!
You can choose whether or not you have a detached property / villa with your own private pool and land, which obviously is a lot more expensive generally starting from £150,000 for a two bedroom with pool just on the outskirts of the resorts!
Or you'd prefer a detached / semi detached property with a communal pool, having a communal pool is generally very pleasant, you have a maintenance man taking care of the up keep and cleaning of the swimming pool and around the area communal gardens etc. Which gives you more time to relax! If you are buying property to let than this is generally a better choice! Also often there isn't normally many people around the pools if any at all! These normally start a lot less you would be looking £120,000 for the centre of some resorts although they do go up depending on which resorts like the centre of Playa de las Americas.
If you are looking for property out of town areas prices will start a lot lower as little as €30,000 for an apartment, €20,000 for a Finca and €60,000 for a villa again this is depending where in Tenerife you are looking and whether or not you want a swimming pool etc and how much land it includes.
