San Pedro de Alcantara Beaches San Pedro de Alcantara boasts good sandy beaches stretching for a total of 5 kilometres. They join San Pedro with Puerto Banus to the east and Guadalmina to the west. Well equipped and with good quality chiringuitos (beach front cafes) they are well worth a visit. Great care and attention is paid to litter collection throughout San Pedro's beaches, and lifeguards/police patrols are in operation. Playa San Pedro / San Pedro Beach San Pedro's central-most beach the 1 kilometre long Playa San Pedro is made up of darkish coloured sand. Do not let this put you off, the beach has been awarded the European blue flag and is generally very popular, without getting too crowded. In addition there are some good chiringuitos (beach front cafes) here. Facilities include; Sun beds and umbrellas, toilets and showers, water sports facilities, life guards, and regular police patrols.
Playa Guadalmina / Guadalmina Beach Playa Guadalmina runs along the front of the much sought after Guadalmina urbanisation. Measuring over 1.5 kilometres in length it is not the busiest of beaches, this is reflected in the quantity of services available. The nearby Guadalmina golf club boasts a variety of courses, and is widely recognised as one of the best on the Costa del Sol. Facilities include; Water sports, sun beds and umbrellas, toilets and showers, life guards, and regular police patrols.
Playa Linda Vista / Linda Vista Beach Playa Linda Vista generally has a high occupancy level. A pleasant beach to visit, a good part of it is flanked by Eucalyptus trees. Another interesting feature is the archeological settlement at its northernmost point; a Paleochristian Basilica Church of historic importance. On the hole this beach is clean and well serviced, there is also ample parking. Facilities include; Sun beds and umbrellas, various water sports facilities, toilets and showers, life guards/towers, and regular police patrols.
