Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club Los Arqueros Golf Club first opened in 1991, and enjoys privileged views from its perch 5 kilometres north of San Pedro in the direction of Ronda. The course suffered a slow start, but after being taken over by Taylor Woodrow its fortunes soon changed. Today Los Arqueros is a popular course amongst players of varying standards. Designed by Seve Ballesteros (leaving his mark in the form of an "S" shaped bunker on the 8th hole) this par 72, 18 hole course is 5843 metres long. The course presents a challenge for all levels of player, and there are a multitude of streams and deep ravines to navigate around. Above all it is the terrain that makes play interesting and losing balls easy. Los Arqueros Golf boats a host of additional services/amenities. Facilities here include; a 40,000 square foot clubhouse with pro shop, squash courts and a sauna. Also available are a putting green, restaurant, and bar.
