La Manga Beaches The La Manga strip has over 44 kilometres of sandy beaches along its shores, many of them awarded a blue flag rating. Perhaps the greatest draw to La Manga comes from its location in-between 2 seas; giving sea views all around. This also gives visitors a contrast in beaches, as due to the difference in the movement of the waters the beaches on the Mediterranean side of the strip differ from those of the Mar Menor (those of the Mediterranean tend to be much deeper). Great care and attention is paid to litter collection, and lifeguards/police patrols operate in most popular spots.
