La Canada Golf The popular Club de Golf La Canada first opened in 1982 and now consists of 18 holes. It is located above the town of San Roque, and near Sotogrande (with its infamous Valderrama and Sotogrande golf courses) at the westernmost end of the Costa del Sol. The first nine holes were designed by Robert Trent Jones, with the back nine added by Dave Thomas. Offering well maintained greens, a variety of citrus trees, and a glen on the 9th hole (from which the course takes its name) this course is pleasing to the eye. La Canada's high vantage point ensures views of the surrounding countryside are exceptional. La Canada Golf boasts a host of additional services/amenities.
