Fuengirola Beaches

Fuengirola is perhaps best known for its five miles of sandy beaches, and sweeping coastline. Flanked by hotels and apartment looking out across the Mediterranean Sea they are ad popular as ever. In recent years money has been spent upgrading the appearance of the sea front; with the addition of a palm fringed promenade amongst other things. Great care and attention is paid to litter collection, and lifeguards/police patrols are in operation.

Please see below for information on some of the most popular beaches in Fuengirola: -

Playa Torreblanca / Torreblanca Beach

Playa Torreblanca is one of the larger and more accessible beaches in Fuengirola. Made up of golden sand it measures 1500 metres in length and has been awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness. Facilities are not in short supply either, with a multitude of water sports and related activities on offer. Those who have not brought any lunch need not be concerned as many restaurants and cafes can be found flanking the beach.
