Estepona Golf Course Estepona Golf first opened in 1989, and is located on the inland side of the main coastal road just one mile from Estepona's town centre. From here it enjoys privileged views out across the Mediterranean Sea. Estepona Golf is a "pay and play course", concentrating on visiting golfers rather than club membership. Designed by Jose Luis Lopez this 18 hole course uses the natural landscape to the fullest, which is set against the Sierra Bermeja mountain range. The fairways are wide and the greens large; presenting a challenge for the experienced player whilst at the same time being a bit more forgiving for the more average golfer. The course is decorated with palms, eucalyptus and olive trees, creating a habitat for many species of wildlife. Estepona Golf boasts a host of additional services/amenities. Facilities here include; a clubhouse, pro shop, driving range, practice green, locker rooms, restaurant, bar, golf cart and trolley hire.
