El Calon is a quiet Spanish town located on the coastline of Costa Almeria. It has narrow cobbled streets, and historical buildings. The beach cove is horseshoe shaped, which protects you from the wind and strong currents. There is table tennis and a playground on the beach, and the waters are crystal clear. Close by are Villaricos which has a weekly Sunday morning market, and San Juan de los Terreros, where you will find all the local amenities you require. The nearest large town is Mojacar.
