Cabopino Golf Club Cabopino Golf Club is a relatively new addition to the Costa, first opening in April of 2001. Since then it has enjoyed continuing popularity (over 80,000 rounds were played in its first two years). The course location is enviable, with both the Mediterranean Sea and Cabopino harbour just a stones throw away. Designed by Juan Ligues the course reflects the up and down nature of the pine covered hills that it occupies. Woodland, bunkers, and water hazards add challenge to a course that will likely demand the use of all/most club types. Play is varied and even high handicap players may be forced to take risks. The services available at Cabopino Golf are also of a high standard. The clubhouse features an excellent restaurant (Restaurante Ramiro) amongst other offerings. Custom Clubmakers International (who service the Asian PGA tour) boast Cabopino Golf as their Spanish headquarters, and can undertake custom club orders/repairs onsite. Facilities here include; clubhouse, cafeteria, changing rooms, showers, sauna, pro-shop, club hire, club making and repair service, driving range, and golf school.
