Welcome to Cabo de Gata Tourism Up until recently Cabo de Gata has been undiscovered predominantly because budget airlines such as Ryanair, and Easyjet weren't flying to Costa Almeria.  Now they are, tourism is booming.  Cabo de Gata is a small Spanish fishing town, with its main attraction being the Natural Park, it's a huge 61km and is protected as a Biosphere Reserve, due to its high ecological value.  There are many habitants in the park including; eagles, pink flamingos, wall lizards, grass snakes, to name a few.  There are also several beaches with cliffs, capes, and volcanic hills. There are numerous active sports to do in Cabo de Gata including: Scuba Diving  Snorkeling Fishing  Climbing  Cycling  Water sports Surfing  Walking/Trekking Bird watching  All in all I would highly recommend Cabo de Gata for at the very least for a day on your annual holiday to the Costa Almeria.  It is an undiscovered, unspoilt town with friendly locals, and lots to do.
