Cabo de Gata Marina There aren't any marinas in Cabo de Gata however there are many nearby.  Many marinas along the Costa Almeria are full and have a long waiting list. Only in large marinas such as Aguadulce, and Almerimar have mooring space available.  You can either buy mooring or lease it. Recently on average prices have risen by 100%.  Boating and yachting are popular pursuits in the Costa Almeria and throughout southern Spain. An increase in population and earnings to the region in recent years has highlighted a need for more mooring space, and both local government and  commercial enterprises have taken to improving this side of the Costa Almeria's infrastructure.
