Cuevas del Canelobre (Busot) These prehistoric caves are located near the town of Busot, just 24 km from Alicante city. The interior of the caves features a very high roof, resembling that of a cathedral. Here you can admire the varied forms the rocks have been worn into; some look like animals, others candelabra etc. The interior of the caves carries sound extremely well, and in fact music productions have been put on here in the past. Busot also offers its visitors an excellent choice of hiking/walking routes, offering unparalleled views across the region.
