Whether you are opting for a daytrip, or something to do in the evening there really is something here for everyone. In this section we link to some of the more popular attractions both in the city of Alicante, as well the Province of Alicante. These prehistoric caves are located near the town of Busot, just 24 km from Alicante city. The interior of the caves features a very high roof, resembling that of a cathedral. Here you can admire the varied forms the rocks have been worn into; some look like animals, others candelabra etc. This prehistoric cave is situated 1.5 kilometres outside the town of Benidoleig. The magnificent cave is covered in stalactites and stalagmites, and is over 350 yards long. In places the domed roof reaches over 60 feet in height. There are a few Casinos within reach of Alicante offering blackjack tables, roulette, slot machines etc. Entrance requires (free) membership so do not forget your passport or you will not be allowed in. There are 2 main safari parks within easy driving distance of Alicante, and both are located in Alicante province itself.
