Alcaidesa Golf The Real Club de Golf Alcaidesa was the first competition standard links golf course in Spain. Popular since its inauguration it is located in the Sotogrande residential area; at the westernmost end of the Costa del Sol. Bordering the beach one cannot escape the views out across the Mediterranean to the rock of Gibraltar and mountains of northern Africa. Designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark this par 68, 18 hole course measures 4924 metres. Always fun to play, the wind is an important consideration here. Wide fairways and layout make this forgiving for average players while still proving a challenge for those with more experience looking for a good score.
